Applications
Construction and Roofing
GIUNTOPLASTO and RESACRYL gaskets provide a flexible and waterproof seal between joints in all types of panels: concrete, insulated sheet metal panels, and the like. They are used in roofing infill panels made of polycarbonate, aluminum, and fiber cement, and wherever a flexible and durable gasket is required.
In prefabricated iron and steel buildings, they play a fundamental role as elastic sealants in components subject to expansion, even in the presence of strong temperature variations.
Applications
Windows and Curtain Walls
- Thermal insulation between the window frame and the wall support;
- Watertightness as a support for double glazing, with particular effectiveness in curtain facades;
- Internal insulation of the boxes for excellent thermal and acoustic insulation.

Industrial and Technical Applications
- Use as general purpose anti-vibration mounts, with the possibility of supplying die-cut parts to customer specifications;
- Air intake vents and sealing between different materials (plastic-wood, plastic-sheet metal, etc.);
- Use as a dielectric separator between different metals.

Refrigeration and Air Treatment Sector
Excellent insulators for the refrigeration sector: refrigerators, cold rooms, air conditioning systems and air handling units.
Applications
Sheet Metal and Thin Materials
Ideal for covering and joining sheet metal edges. Thanks to their compressibility, they adapt easily to a wide variety of applications, making them particularly suitable even for highly ductile and thin materials.
GIUNTOPLASTO and RESACRYL gaskets are produced with a higher weight/volume than similar products, guaranteeing a greater quantity of active material for the same volume and therefore a more effective and safe seal.
