Applications

Characteristics of the material
LEM CORD is made of closed-cell expanded polyethylene foam, a material characterised by lightness, waterproofness and excellent dimensional stability.
Inserted inside the joint before applying the mastic, it gives the sealing compound a concave section that promotes a uniform distribution of stresses and allows for maximum elasticity of the sealing system.
The material is compatible with all major types of mastic and maintains its characteristics unchanged even in the presence of humidity and temperature variations.
